Educated on JAZZ!

... "By my man AHMET Ertegun, my friend!" Thus opens our show tonight, the words of a true friend to Mr. Ertegun, a man who carried him to his grave. Kid Rock, quoted in a jazz episode in Ahmet's House? Yes, that is how wide and high this house is. It serves as the inspiration and gateway for this evenings show. It is Bob's quote, but the first song title could easily apply to Atlantic's iconic founder as well. Enjoy!

Good times!

It's a Stone Cold, Crazy World...

HOW are all of you doing? We are truly alone so much, but this current worldwide situation makes it difficult to remember "normal", at times. So lets just celebrate the crazy in the Atlantic universe! Inspiration for tonight's show comes from the first song up, by the "Wicked Mr. Pickett". Stay safe my friends!

Imagine...it's 1947 and the Muslims Are Out...So What?

Lots of talk...some not so well thought out...but what if...it's 1947 and the Muslims are out! What's the harm? There will be no Ray or Aretha as we know them...Zeppelin and CSNY are too egocentric and talented to be signed by anyone, Clapton has gone back to his Uncles farm and progressive rock is just too complicated for anyone to understand. Better think this one over Mr. Trump.  Ahmet's House, tonight at 7PM...'Cause I feel like I owe it, to someone.
