Celebrating Nesuhi tonight in Ahmet's House

Today we celebrate the birth and legacy of jazz lover and influential collector, critic and producer Nesuhi Ertegun. Older brother to Ahmet and unknown to many, Nesuhi created the early successes of Coltrane, Mingus and Ornette Coleman, bringing obscure jazz to the forefront worldwide! Tonight, let's thank him!

After a Night of Beautiful Music...the Word is Yes!

I had the great opportunity to go to New York's famed Beacon Theater on Tuesday to see some old friends...ARW, namely Jon Anderson, Trevor Rabin and Rick Wakeman...all of course of YES! So tonight in thanks for once again painting a lavish field of color and passion, we devote a large part of this episode to that great music! Thank you Ahmet for hearing what this music was all about in 1969. It's why you were a visionary...
