Independence...

On this Fourth of July weekend in the US, I'm thinking about freedom and independence. In art, in music, freedom is essential. Perhaps what Ahmet and Atlantic did best, and more, was to create the atmosphere where artistic freedom could live and breath. For that, we are thankful on this day...in Ahmet's House.

What'd I Say---Ray Charles
Think!---Aretha Franklin
Anyday---Derek and the Dominos
House of Freedom---Anderson and Wakeman
Equinox---John Coltrane
Purple Sky---Kid Rock
But Not For Me---Willie Nelson
Longing for You---Norah Jones
Promised Land---Robert Plant
Find the Cost of Freedom---Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young
