Our hearts are heavy in Ahmet's House this day, as we heard of Mica Ertegun's passing on the morning of Saturday December 2nd, in her Southampton, NY home. She was 97.
A woman of amazing charm, intelligence and grace, she welcomed me into her home on many occasions, and opened many doors. I will miss that warmth and appreciation she freely gave. Tonight will be a small thank you to Mica, as we share a conversation we had from 2010.
